A primitive Catalan bench, with traces of original paint. These traditional vernacular benches have become rather desirable in recent years, adding a rustic charm to any interior setting.

This bench is best described as distressed, with obvious signs of wear, age and weathering. It has historic worm scars, most extensively to the side as seen in the pictures. It also has a slight lean to one side, which could be rectified, however I decided to leave it as is, as it is perfectly functional and in original and honest condition.
