ITEM DESCRIPTIONS​

The item description is based on our personal opinion and experience, and is often written on instinct. We are not experts in every field and are constantly learning. We will do out utmost to try describe all items accurately, however your discretion is advised as some dates, makers, country of origin or purpose of use may not be accurate.

 

CONDITION​

The items we sell are often antique and as such will all come with age related wear and tear. Marks, blemishes, scratches and knocks can all be expected when buying antiques, especially when purchasing vernacular or primitive pieces that we specialise in. If there is any significant or notable damage we will mention it in the description, however it is your responsibility to look through all the photographs and assess its condition and whether it's suitable for your needs.

 

DELIVERY​

We work with a number of reliable and professional local couriers and international shippers and all items will be sent safely and packaged correctly where necessary. We cannot be held responsible for any damage caused during transit, and all claims for loss or damage must be taken up with the courier responsible. We will of course work with you and help with any claims or correspond with the courier on your behalf if needed.

DEPOSITS

 

If you have reserved an item and have put a deposit down, you have agreed to purchase the item and will have 14 days to pay the balance, unless another agreement was agreed before hand. If the balance is not received or you change your mind, the item will go back on sale and you will lose your deposit. 

RETURNS + REFUNDS

 

All of our items are sold as antique, vintage or used, and as such will all come with imperfections. Refunds are not accepted unless we have significantly misdescribed an item or failed to mention any damage that is deemed beyond reasonable age related wear and tear. We will not accept refunds for a change of heart, or if the colour, size or style isn't what you hoped for and doesn't suit or fit the intended location. If a refund is required for misrepresentation, we must be notified within 48hours of receiving the item and it is your responsibility to arrange the safe return of the item within 14 days of the agreed return, and all return costs are your responsibility. We will only refund the original sale price, and not shipping costs, and a refund will only be issued if returned in the same condition as sent. 

COMMISION SALES​

If we are selling an item on your behalf, all the terms of the commission agreement will be stated in the paperwork provided to you, this will include the commission amount, your agreed sale price and the length of time we will advertise your item for you. If you would like your item returned before this date, or have decided not to sell, you are welcome to collect the item at any time, or we can arrange its safe return at your expense.
