A charming 19th century oil painting of a majestic male lion resting in a wonderfully moody setting, creating an intriguing atmosphere that seems to lure you in. This painting was obtained in the United States and has been professionally and sympathetically cleaned and restored after suffering some age related damage. It was painted some time in the mid 19th century by the artist N.G Jennings.
