It's been a few years since we sold an armchair to the production company creating Matilda the Musical for Netflix. At the time all we were told was it was destined to be Miss Honey's armchair, and hadn't heard anything else since. Knowing how these things go, how changes are often made or sets perhaps don't go exactly according to plan, we didn't give it much thought. Then, recently after its release on Netflix – we sat down to watch it with the kids and were delighted to see that it did make the final cut... and the kids were thrilled that Matilda was actually sitting on it. It's always good to know items are heading off to be used as props... and awesome when you see them on the big screen!
