This picture was taken in Tuscany, on the balcony of our 'base camp' at the time, a stunning spot overlooking the ancient 'coppi' roof tiles of the beautiful medieval village we called home. It symbolises the highs and lows of this unpredictable and exciting world of antiques that I've had the pleasure of exploring for the best part of seventeen years.

The few months leading up to this photo were the best, most exhilarating and memorable of my career - the months that followed were by far the worst. This picture is the calm before the storm... and this website is the aftermath and my attempt to dust myself off, get back up and carry on chasing that high.
