I have just got back from a 5 day canoe expedition down the River Wye with my eldest son Lake, to raise some cash and awareness for an awesome named charity fund, in memory of Lake's best friend Frank who we lost to Cancer at only 13 years old. The trip was an absolutely awesome adventure and took us roughly 30hours to complete the 85 miles stretch. We battled sunburn and enjoyed beautiful weather, then endured gale force wind and torrential rain, but overall it was a fantastic experience and all for the most amazing cause.
